Since a pair very similar Clark loafers I had bought in a local shoe store were very comfortable, I dared to order these online. I was not disappointed -- these a great! I have also some great-fitting, super comfortable Clark sandals I had purchased at a shoe store. The Clark sandals I bought later on online, however, did not fit my feet well. The sandals online had very different soles and structure than the ones I had bought in the shoe store. So, what I have learned is that it is less risky to buy shoes online if they are the same or very similar to the shoes I already have. I buy online when the local shoe stores do not carry all the colors made buy the manufacturer.

These shoes were a gift for my daughter. She loves them! I knew I could count on Clarks for a great comfortable fit.
Fits Like a Dream (2010-01-12)
Although I've bought Clark's shoes before, this is the first shoe I've bought in a long time that fit so comfortably right out of the box. No tight spots anywhere, and they even thought to put in some cushioning for the sole.
My only (minor) complaint is that the actual shoe does not look quite as streamlined "in person" as it does online. But it still looks decent and the comfort more than makes up for it.
Just one more reason why Clark's is definitely one of my preferred brands for shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable. I purchased a pair in black first and then searched online to find the brown ones.
