Power Take Off for your feet (2010-06-14)
I have a problem with heel pain (pf) and have been looking for some good walking shoes that will look okay with shorts, capris, or long pants. We are planning an extensive walking tour of the northeast this summer and I know it will be hard to keep up with 3 teenage boys and my healthy long legged husband treking through NYC and Boston. I just bought this fabulous sandal/sneaker and am delighted. The contruction on the sole makes them rock forward as you walk and sort of propel you forward. Also, since I have one foot slightly longer and wider than the other, the velcro straps allow me to adjust the width of each shoe so that the fit is perfectly snug for each foot. They are pricey for a summer shoe but after paying $50 several times over for various sandals and sneakers that aggravate my heel pain and hence are in their boxes in my closet, the cost will be well worth it. I can look forward top our vacation without fear and dread now. Hurray!
