perfect sandal; cute, comfortable, practical (2010-08-24)
i'll start with the only downside to this shoe, and this is really true for many of indigo's shoes--it runs about a half size large. not really a downside if you know this in advance, but for me, half of the time i wear my usual 9.5, half the time i actually wear a 9 in indigo. this time, it was a 9, but there are only 9.5's available, so im left with my slightly too large 9.5. truthfully, i love absolutely everything else about this shoe, so i am going to keep it. it stays on my foot (thank you adjustable ankle strap), has a great, thick sole without being bulky, and has incredible cushioning with added support in the arch, ball of the foot and heel. an honestly *perfect* summer sandal. the stones are beautiful and thankfully do not look cheap, and the champaign leather also looks great, nice and soft too. i doubt that there will be much need to break these in; i am tempted to bring them on my weekend trip right out of the box. again, maybe just a tad too big, but in the end, i am probably the only one who is going to notice. everyone else is just going to see incredible sandals :)
Gorgeous and comfy, a great combination (2010-06-30)
I purchased these sandals in both black and brown. They are extremely comfortable and this is coming from someone who needs to have comfortable shoes, as I have RA and Fibromyalgia. The sizing is good for someone who has a slightly wider foot, but will work for a medium width foot as well. I do have to use the last hole to keep them tight on my feet. These sandals are gorgeous and I have received several compliments on them. My 18 daughter has even tried to steal them from me! Do not hesitate to purchase these.
